- How do I use Spam Guardian?
Spam Guardian was designed with simplicity in mind. In most cases all that is required is signing up. In some rare cases where a message is falsely identified as spam you may optionally whitelist the sender's email address so that it does not happen again in the future.
- How do I use the white list/black list?
The whitelist/blacklist is as simple as adding the email address of the sender to your filter list. After that, messages from addresses on your whitelist will never be blocked by our system and messages from addresses on your black list will always be blocked.
- What happens to messages that are blocked by Spam Guardian?
Messages that do get marked as spam are placed in your spam quarantine. This is to ensure that in the event that a message is falsely identified you still have access to that message.
- How do I view my quarantined messages?
Simply login to the Spam Guardian interface, click the "Spam Mail" option, and select the date that the message was sent. You will be able to view all spam messages that were caught by the Spam Guardian Pro filters and release the message to your inbox.
- Are there any delays while Spam Guardian evaluates my email?
Sometimes there is a slight one to two minute delay while your message is analyzed by our system for spam content. The delay is generally so short that you will not notice.
- Are my private messages being viewed by your team of spam analysts?
No, we do not read or monitor any of the messages that are sent directly to you. Our team constantly monitors "trap" mailboxes which are setup with the intention of receiving spam messages. The messages are identified and then blocked from entering your mailbox.
- Why does Spam Guardian work so well?
The reason Spam Guardian works so well is because we have a team of spam analysts working behind the scenes monitoring global spam trends, saving you the time and effort of creating your own filters.
